cPanel Price Adjustments in 2023
As you may have heard, cPanel has recently announced its latest price increase for all types of cPanel licenses: the third since the company’s acquisition by Oakley Capital. You can check their new standard pricing here. This adjustment directly reflects on any hosting business that provides cPanel (or Plesk for that matter) as a control panel. All hosts worldwide will be affected by this, and, as much as we dislike it, this includes us at HostForWeb.
We've worked hard to minimize the cost impact of this new cPanel price hike on our customers, but we'd also like to break down the adjustments here in this article to maintain full transparency on what you should expect to pay per month. When will the changes take effect?
The price updates will be rolled out in one go by January 15th, 2023. All invoices with a due date on or beyond that date will already include updated pricing. The updated rates that you should expect are:
Shared Accounts
Shared plans will see an increase of $1 per month for shorter billing cycles. The prices for packages on 24 and 36 months billing plans will remain the same:
